Lisa Miano has over 25 years experience in industry and public accounting.  After receiving her Bachelors Degree from Bryant University in May, 1987, she began her professional career when she joined Price Waterhouse, one of the nation's top accounting firms.   Her experience included time spent in the audit department, international tax division, and the small business tax department.  

Subsequently to her time at Price Waterhouse, she joined Continental Cablevision as their Senior Tax Accountant, specializing in multi state taxation, sales tax, and combined corporations.  She then returned to public accounting with Gately & Associates, following partner Michael Cunningham, when he formed his own firm in Hingham, MA as a key member of the tax department specializing in small businesses, high net worth individuals, trusts and estates. 

Fulfilling a lifelong dream, she together with her father Richard Kendig founded the public accounting firm Kendig & Miano, LLC in May, 2000.  Since her fathers passing, she has managed the firm on her own since 2003.

Lisa Miano is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
